This exhibition was inspired by the beauty within our urban environments, so
often unseen in our daily focus of getting from A to B in the shortest
possible time and by the shortest possible route. The routine of getting
to and from work, picking the kids up, and doing the shopping, doesn't
leave much space for connecting with the earth and our environment,
which is an essential part of nourishing our spirit and soul.
All these images are taken around the urban streets in Canberra,
Australia, and focus on selected textures and forms to emphasize the
unseen scenes under our collective noses.
